General Information

All classes require advance booking, except summer holiday classes which are all 'drop-in'.

Courses are 5-7 weeks long, although it is often possible to join a group part-way through a block.

Please bring a signed Health Screen form to your first lesson.

Feel free to contact Diane with any questions.

Class levels are as below:

Level 1:  Beginners

Focus is on learning the basic asanas and principles, working through the first level of the introductory syllabus.  Classes usually involve a range of standing and seated poses, shoulderstand, and relaxation.

Level 1/2:  Mixed

These classes are suitable both for beginners and more experienced students. Different levels of poses are adapted according to each student’s ability and experience.

Level 2:  Intermediate

Suitable for more experienced students who may already practise headstand.  An opportunity to focus on some of the more challenging asanas and to deepen your understanding.

Diane is particularly good at tailoring her sessions to match her students, even when they are at different levels. I practised yoga for 8 years before coming to Diane and have learnt a great deal in time that I have been her student. Sally

I began attending Eight yoga classes because of lower back problems. Thanks to Diane’s patient guidance, my flexibility has increased and my back problems have gone.

Was feeling old and creaky and am much improved by Diane's fantastic yoga group. Am much more flexible and stronger too, it often feels like a real work out - I highly recommend it.
